About Jessica Grippo, HHC

Jessica is a certified holistic health counselor who comes to this practice after her own personal struggles with the frustrating symptoms of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). After years of dealing with an absent menstrual cycle, bouts of depression, and creative blocks, she discovered Laughing Sage Wellness and enrolled in a program that transformed her health and her life forever.

Jessica received a B.A. in psychology from New York University and a certificate in holistic health counseling from the Integrative Nutrition program at Columbia University’s Teachers College. As an apprentice at Laughing Sage Wellness, she then deepened her training in women’s holistic health, learning the intricacies of women’s hormonal issues and LSW’s unique food- and lifestyle-based approach to treating them. Ever since, she has been counseling women to heal both physically and emotionally.

Integrating her background in dance and performance, Jessica is an engaging and gifted speaker, and has been a guest presenter at NYU, the New School, Baruch College, The Young Women’s Leadership Schools, the Women’s Mosaic, and other corporations and colleges in the NYC area.

An Invitation to Trust with Sant Mukh Singh, M.D.

Trust like raindrops
Falls upon my forehead
Gathers at my feet
Enlarges
Swallowing doubt and fear
Rising like the sea

Until I float

This workshop will explore how trusting oneself opens doors to prosperity.  It turns out most of us don’t trust very much at all.  Not ourselves, not our relationships, and certainly not the Universe.  In my own case this was certainly true.  I was pretty sure that if the Universe was intending to send something my way it was going to be painful, expensive or, most likely, both!  The problem is that inner conflict is the principle block to a prosperous life.  If you set a goal but, on some level you don’t trust you can reach it, guess what?  You won’t.  Through the generosity of my mentor Gurucharin Singh I have been given teachings on prosperity he developed as a course with Yogi Bhajan twenty years ago.  The course begins with a specific meditation for the development of Self Trust.  Join me on Saturday March 6th at 1pm to begin the course for prosperity with the Meditation for Brosa.

Relax Already and BodyFit present a special new workshop…

 “Love Begins Within”

Love is all around you, but you must find it within first!

The heart center is the seat of love and compassion. An open and balanced heart center bestows wisdom, success and fulfillment of desires as well as a strong immune system. We will practice a Kundalini Yoga set and a meditation to open the heart center and remove blocks that cause painful relationships, selfishness and prevent you from enjoying life to the fullest. Opening the heart center gives you a profound experience of self-love and of compassion for yourself and others. As you surrender the analytical mind, you attain clarity and serenity in your relationships and create the space to attract abundance and opportunities.

We will show you how to open your heart
