We’re glad you asked. Kundalini Yoga is a 5000-year-old technology that Yogi Bhajan (the master of Kundalini Yoga) brought to the United States from India in 1969.
Each Kundalini Yoga class combines breathwork (pranayama), postures (asana), sound current (mantra), and meditation to formulate a powerful set (kriya). Kundalini classes are like recipes. When you combine and perform specific poses and meditations in a specific sequence, for a specific amount of time, a specific benefit results.

Every Kundalini Yoga class is designed to recharge and heal your body. Kundalini Yoga works quickly and powerfully. There are thousands of yoga sets to work with ranging from detoxification to working on metabolism to alleviating stress. All classes work directly to balance the glandular system and strengthen the nervous system.
In Kundalini Yoga, we work with the ‘real’ and try to reach the ‘ideal.’ In other words, the yoga is meant to challenge you, but does not expect or require you to behave like a human pretzel.
